Es dauerte über 10 Tage bis das Paket mit den Ersatzteilen ankam, was nicht am Scooter-center lag, eher am Zoll und der überforderten peruanischen Post

It took more than 10 days until my order from scootercenter arrived in Lima, it was not the fault of scooter-center the package was long time at the custom

Also erstmal nahm ich den Block raus

First thing I removed the engine

Dann hab ich den geöffnet und gereinigt, denn da war viel Aluminiumspäne von dem Loch im Kolben drin

I opend the enginge and cleaned this guy, because there was lots metalgrains from the pistonhole in

Die Gänge nahm ich raus...

I removed the gears...

Und nahm die Antriebswelle raus, um an die Simmerringe dahinter zu kommen...

I removed the mailshaft to reach the oilsealing rings

Dieser saß wie man sieht leicht schief, das heißt hier hätte der Motor Falschluft ziehen können, vielleicht war das der Grund für das zu heiß laufen des Motors.

This oilsealingring was not strait in anymore maybe it was the reason. The enginge was sucking air and ran to hot.

Die CDI, ist für die Zündung zuständig, auch die sah nicht gut aus, hab ich natürlich auch gewechselt.

CDI. this guy is doing the spark-ignition job, looks bad aswell, so I canged

Ein paar Nadellager und das Schaltkreuz flogen raus, wie alle Dichtungen

A couple of needle-bearrings, the shift-gear-cross and all gaskets I changed aswell

Und dann stellte sih am Ende raus, dass der Zylinder ausgeschlagen war. Also besorgten mir die Jungs vom Vespaclub, nach ewigem hin und her einen 150ccm Kolben und Zylinder und ich tauschte sie komplett aus.

In the end I recognized that the cilinder was to wide, but I just ordered a piston from germany. Finally we found a new cilinder and piston brandnew and I canged the whole hub.

Von innen und außen sauber, neu abgedichtet jedoch es fehlt noch der Zylinder

Na endlich fertig! Ich baute Ihn wieder ein und schloß die Kabel und Schlauchverbindungen wieder an.

Finally ready, I put in this guy again and connected the cable and hoses

Mit einen neuen Kolben darf man 1000km nur langsam und untertourig fahren

With new piston you need to ride slow and just with low rpm

Das heist, ich fuhr manximal 60km/h und kroch auf dem Seitenstreifen der Panamericana

That means I was crawling 30-35 mp/h on the hard shoulder of the panam

Erstmal gabs nix spannendes zu sehen

At the beginning there was nothing exciting to see

Einfachst, kaum mehrstöcking und nicht für Regen gebaut

Wenigstens ist die Panamericana sauberst geteert.

Die Wüste heißt hier Pampa, und man kann ahnen warum.

Und dieses Windrad ist ein Zeichen der Zivilisation, aber wer um Himmels Willen lebt hier?

Zum Glück lief die Vespa sauber vor sich hin und brachte mich nicht in Probleme hier draußen

Da war es wieder das Spiel mit Leben in der Wüste

Laut den Peruanern ist  das die größte natürliche Oase in Lateinamerika

The peruanos said, it is the biggest natural oasis all over latin amerika

Schwimmen verboten, was auch gut ist denn es ist Leben bringendes Trinkwasser

Schön anzusehen und auch ein abgefahrener Ort

Beim Tanken stellte ich etwas fest, was steht denn da auf dem Kleingedruckten am Zapfsäulenrand?

When I was filling the tank I saw something written on the gaspump

Das ist kein Gasolina, sondern Gasohol. Das bedeutet, dass mindestens 10% Ethanol-anteil da drin sind. Und das überall in Peru. NICHT gut für alte Vespas!

It is no gasolina, it is gasohol that means minimum 10% of ethanol in mixed in the fuel. Everywhere in peru. This is NOT good for classic vespas!

Menschen leben in Strohhäusern

People are living in straw-huts

Hier mit einem Windfang, der sehr wichtig ist denn wenn es abkühlt dann ziehts ganz schön hier

Unglaublich, we ist wirklich eine Energiesparlampe

Umbelieveable ist is a energy-saving lightbulb

Dann hoffe ich, dass für die Erleuchtung auch Generator zur Verfügung steht.

Das leben hier muss sehr unkonfortabel sein, ohne Strom und Wasser, deswegen sagt der Glühbirnen-Jesus schon was aus, wenn ich es mir genauer betrachte.

Life here must be hard, without energy and runnning water. Maybe it is better to move out in the place were I saw the lightbulb-jesus

Viele dieser Häuser sehen verlassen aus, man sagte mir dass es investoren gab die Siedlungen erichteten, aber am Ende wollte keiner hin...Warum blos?

Lots houses look like they are abandoned, people explained me that there were investors creating lots houses and colonies, but nobody want to move in. Why?

700km legte ich im Schneckentempo zurück und hatte glücklicherweise keine Probleme.

I did 440miles slow with low rpm and I hadn´t any problems!

Nun stehen die Zeichen endlich auf Aufbruch und ich verabschiedete mich von den "Lambrespas"

Now im almost back in buisness, but before I said bye bye to my vespafamily "lambrespas" of lima

Es war eine lange Zeit hier und auch wenn sie familiär und freundlich waren, bin ich froh endlich von hier abzuhauen!

It was a long and succsessful time here. The guys were friendly, helpful and like a family! But now I´m happy to leave Lima!
